Mini-Moo is developing the future solution for smart monitoring of cattle and pastures. Our ambition is to build a modular and scalable system that provides continuous, actionable and user-friendly information about animal welfare and grazing management. The solution should work in practice, be easy to adapt and not require large amounts of manually annotated data to create value.
With Mini-Moo, we want to replace uncertain and sporadic animal inspections with continuous monitoring that can provide early warning signals about health problems, behavioral changes and other deviations in individual animals.
By combining IMU and GNSS data, we create a decision support for field use that not only strengthens the monitoring of animals, but also helps the farmer to quickly locate and manage escapes from enclosures and pastures.
In a user-friendly application, the animals’ movement patterns and likely areas of deviation are visualized. This saves time, reduces the need for manual inspection and opens up new collaborations between agriculture, technology companies and innovative AgTech players.
