Information to data subjects about the processing of personal data at Nordic Testbed Network

Purpose

We collect, store, and process data, including personal information, to

  1. invite individuals with a possible interest in the digitalisation of the bioeconomy to webinars, workshops, events, or similar,
  2. send newsletters covering topics relevant to the digitalisation of the bioeconomy, and
  3. facilitate contact and knowledge sharing between individuals and organisations with an interest in the digitalisation of the bioeconomy.

SLU will also process your personal data as required for SLU to comply with regulations on public documents and the archives of public authorities.

Legal basis

For purpose 1 and 3, the legal basis for processing of personal data is that it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest. This legal basis is based on SLU’s remit as a public authority. SLU’s government remit is governed by law, SLU’s instructions and its public service agreement.  

For purpose 2, the legal basis for processing of personal data is informed consent. 

The Nordic Testbed Network otherwise deals with personal data in such a manner as required by SLU to comply with the requirements for government authorities to archive official documents. This is an undertaking of public interest and in accordance with Swedish law.

Transfer of personal data

Analysys Mason has been commissioned to coordinate the Nordic Testbed Network, and thereby collect, process, and store personal data. This handling of personal data is regulated in an agreement. In line with the agreement, the handling of personal data is performed according to SLU’s instructions, and according to what the legislation requires. Another party may have access to the personal data to deliver a service or the like, where it is necessary for the Nordic Testbed Network to be able to organise activities such as webinars. In this case, the handling of personal data is regulated by an agreement.

Certain personal data, such as the names and contact details of the testbed representatives, is displayed on the website. This information has been provided to the Nordic Testbed Network by the testbed representatives, with the intention to be published on the website.  

Disclosure

In accordance with the regulations on public documents, SLU may disclose your personal data to anyone who requests a public document that includes your data, unless they are subject to non-disclosure.

Storing data

Your data will be stored as long as you do not request to have it erased.

Your personal data will also be stored for as long as required by the Public Access to Information Act and the regulations on the archives of public authorities.

Your rights

You have the right, under certain circumstances, to have your personal data erased, corrected or limited. You also have the right of access to the personal data being processed and you have the right to object to the processing of your data. Contact to exercise your rights.
